This painting was done entirely in corel painter and based upon an old pencil sketch of the warrior. I added the whole landscape with bridge and castle to impose a dramatic feeling of a "lonely warrior defending the sole entrance towards his home against some agressors" ... I resisted on drawing the aggressors though hoping on adding some curiosity on who or what they are ...
